Histories of women in and around Japan, 1868-1945

According to the school site, they were introduced to Wright by the architect Endo Arata, who also designed some of the school buildings; he had been Wright's assistant on the legendary Imperial Hotel. (I don't know exactly how they knew Endo, but he was apparently a Christian, so they most likely moved in the same Christian, intellectual, liberal circles of Tokyo at the time).
