What is an adopted-husband?
A system in which a man takes his wife's name and becomes a member of her family instead of the other way around, usually done when the wife's family has no sons in that generation and wants to carry on the family name for business/other purposes (the husband probably being a younger son in his own family). Not as common nowadays but still happens occasionally.
